According to the Washington Post, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has resigned from the company’s board of directors.
The departure was planned back in November, when Dorsey left his position as CEO.
However, Dorsey had previously indicated that he would retain his position as chairman of the board until the end of 2022.
The events took place against the backdrop of the purchase of Twitter by Ilon Musk.
Musk himself did not attend the directors’ meeting, and top executives declined to disclose details of the deal.
