Last week a Memorandum of understanding has been signed between LG UPlus, Taiwan’s Far EasTone Telecommunications, Japanese SoftBank and American TBCASoft. The new service will allow users of one mobile operator to carry out transactions in payment networks of other operators. Thus, users of LG UPlus will be able to buy goods using smartphones, while in Taiwan or Japan, while users of Far EasTone will receive the same opportunity when traveling to Korea or Japan.
