Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that Instagram will begin testing NFT starting this week.
“We’re starting to build NFT not only in our meta universe and Reality Labs, but in our entire family of apps. We’ll be adding similar features to Facebook soon,” he said.
Meta confirmed that Instagram will initially support Ethereum-based NFT, with Polygon, Solana and Flow networks to be integrated later. The platform will be compatible with MetaMask, Rainbow and TrustWallet wallets.
The organization added that it is also currently developing three-dimensional NFTs with augmented reality thanks to its own Spark AR software.
