NEAR Foundation CEO Marike Flement talked about how institutional investors are trying to learn about cryptocurrency in order to understand how they can enter this market.
As more Web2 companies move into Web3, Flement said, other institutional players are having to think about what these developments mean for their businesses.
“We’re seeing a very strong desire from institutional investors to understand the space and to understand where they can participate,” she added.
Flement also noted that regulation will play a very important role in institutional investor decision-making. To that end, the CEO of the NEAR Foundation stressed that one of the company’s priorities is how they can help regulate the crypto ecosystem.
“We need to be more coordinated to have a voice in the industry and eventually come together with regulators,” she said.
