Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal purchased NFT CryptoPunk No. 5822 for 8,000 ETH ($23.7 million).
The purchase set a record in CryptoPunk collection history.
Chain’s CEO later said that he used a loan from the Compound platform to buy NFT.
The previous record purchase was valued at 2,501 ETH.
