The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for an online marketplace for various digital goods, including NFT, cryptocurrencies, digital media and artwork.
If the exchange does go through with it, its direct competitors will be OpenSea and Rarible.
In April, the NYSE released its first NFT collection. At the time, the exchange said it was not selling NFTs, but only minting them.
