A successful trial of overseas remittance based on Ripple blockchain technology has been completed by Woori Bank, bringing the possibility of launching the commercialization of blockchain cross-border payments as early as this year. Ripple is taking strong position in crypto market, as its clientele is growing and already includes some of the world’s largest banks, payments providers and even traditional remittance giants trialing the startup’s blockchain technology.
