Maqta Gateway, a subsidiary of maritime industry developer Abu Dhabi Ports, developed and deployed its own blockchain solution, called Silsal (Arabic for ‘chain’), with the main aim to provide a better solution for international logistics and trade. The solution is the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi, and it will allow ports to carry out real-time tracking of cargo and paperless documents, at the same time to save time and increase the overall efficiency of international trade.
