Citizens School in Dubai will begin accepting bitcoin and Ethereum as tuition this September. The funds will be automatically converted into dirhams.
“Some time ago, cryptocurrency was just a floating term among knowledgeable investors. Today, however, cryptocurrency is becoming increasingly popular, changing the traditional financial system. In the same way, Citizens School is changing the education sector, rethinking every element of the learning process,” commented Citizens School founder Dr. Adil Alzarouni.
He added that the adoption of cryptocurrency payments should increase the role of younger generations in the development of the country’s digital economy.
