Singapore’s DBS Bank, which opened a digital asset trading division for institutions in early 2021, plans to expand its cryptocurrency trading offerings to retail investors by the end of the year. This was announced by CEO Piyush Gupta.
He also said that in the first half of the year, the bank will focus on making access to the digital asset trading platform more convenient for its existing customers.
Currently, users need to call a banker to place an order to buy cryptocurrency. According to the CEO, they will make an online service where customers can buy assets themselves.
