Hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg has announced plans to turn Death Row Records into the first NFT label.
“Death Row is going to be an NFT label, we’re going to release artists in the meta universe. Just like when we changed the industry by becoming the first major independent label. I want to be the first major label in the meta universe,” he stated.
Death Row Records was founded by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, The D.O.C. and other artists in 1991. Snoop Dogg took over the label on February 10.
