The South Korean lawmakers drafted a bill that would legalize Initial Coin Offerings which comply with the regulations set by the government. According to the bill, ICOs will be be subject to strict supervision by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Financial Services Commission. In 2017 South Korea banned all ICOs, but the financial authorities were reportedly discussing the plan to legalize ICOs with the nation’s justice ministry, tax agency, and other departments.
