According to the CipherTrace, the American cybersecurity company, money laundering with the help of crypto has tripled from the beginning of this year, compared to $266 mln in 2017. It is being forecasted that the money laundering will reach $1.5 bln by the end of the year. In order to tackle such unfortunate trend, the company developed the anti-laundering platform CipherTrace AML, based on artificial intelligence. The system uses advanced analysis methods and public cloud services to identify potential sources of money laundering.
