Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov said that tax for miners is planned to be tied to the value of cryptocurrency.
According to the official, this will have a positive impact on the state budget.
“We are looking at increasing the tax burden for miners, we are also currently looking at tying the tax rate for miners to the value of cryptocurrency. If cryptocurrency grows, it will be good for the budget,” he said.
February 8, 2022 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to increase the tax on mining by 10 times.
