The Ministry of Finance of Russia finalized the draft of the federal law “On digital currency” taking into account the previously received positions of departments and sent it to the Russian government.
According to the official statement, the bill clarifies and specifies certain provisions of the bill, including those related to the activities of digital mining. The bill provides the creation of a comprehensive regulation of the cryptocurrency market, including the procedure for transactions with digital currencies and their issue, as well as determining the characteristics of the activities of the subjects of the cryptocurrency market.
The bill was sent to the government.
