Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced a partnership with fantasy collectible card game developer Splinterlands. The two companies will collaborate and provide WMG artists with opportunities to create and develop blockchain-based arcade games in which they can earn money.
“By partnering with Splinterlands to create custom tokenized games, we are opening up new sources of revenue for our artists who are interested in this space,” said WMG’s director of digital technology, Oan Ruxandre.
Last month, WMG entered the NFT market for the first time.
Splinterlands was founded in 2018 and is the creator of the blockchain game of the same name.
