Brazilian neobank Nubank has begun a partnership with cryptocurrency company Paxos to introduce cryptocurrency trading.
The company said that digital asset trading will appear in the app as early as May.
For starters, users will be able to trade bitcoin and Ethereum, but later the bank plans to expand the offer.
In addition, Nubank Holdings purchased bitcoins for 1% of its free assets.
Bank users can now trade cryptocurrencies through ETFs.
Earlier, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway invested in Nubank. The amount of investment was $1 billion.
