Hinting at digital assets, legendary investor Warren Buffett said that cash will always outperform new forms of currencies. He also added that his company, Berkshire Hathaway, will always hold a lot of cash.
“The United States government believes that it has become possible to exchange them (digital currencies) for legitimate money in the United States. It could be that the purchasing power of dollars would plummet in value. But when people tell you they’re reaching for new forms of money, cash is the only thing that will help pay their bills,” he said.
Buffett has previously stated that bitcoin has no value.
