A user lost 1,155 WBTC worth $68 million after falling victim to an address spoofing attack.
The attack involves tricking the victim into sending a transaction to the wrong wallet address by mimicking the first and last six characters of the correct address.
Often this type of fraud works when a person is in a hurry and does not check the address completely.
