Federal prosecutors have launched an investigation into Block and its fintech units Square and Cash App.
All of these companies are owned by Twitter creator Jack Dorsey.
The companies allegedly flagrantly violated regulatory requirements and also processed crypto transactions linked to terrorist organizations and sanctioned countries.
